Latest Project
Making sure folks are fed during these uncertain times, our staff volunteered at a local food bank. The Food Bank experienced a ten-fold increase in clients during the peak of Covid-19. 450 families received canned foods, milk, meat, fresh fruits & veggies, and hot meals. We believe in community and sharing our blessings with others.
Completed Projects
We have donated fruit bearing trees to Dover Elementary School to help teach students about science, the environment, and healthy eating practices through hands on project-based learning. The students and faculty planted the trees along with other plants in an area designated by the school for the garden project. The students are learning and having fun with this project and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them in the future!
We have donated time to Booker Middle School Gifted Science and STEAM departments to help build a model city. This was a school wide project involving earth, life, and physical science teams along with math, technology, and the arts. We aided the team in customizing the framing details and donated over 28 hours to assist the team in the actual construction of the project.
We feel it is important to make sure kids have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and have fun within the framework of a team. We have donated to team sports to help cover costs and make it more affordable for all team members.
